Philippians 3:12-13 12: Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13: Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it, But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.
What does the past do for us? Nothing, except to learn from and take one step ahead toward our future. If we stay in the past God can’t bless us there - all his blessings are in the moments we experience as we take steps forward.
I don’t know what God has for us when we move forward, but I do know what God promises; He has a plan for us and it’s not to harm but to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We can only experience that promise if we let go of the past and move forward. If it’s hard to move forward, keep God’s promise close to you and remember, it will get greater later, and keeping moving.
It will get greater later because of another truth that is …
We are God’s children, a Kings Child, YOU are royalty. As his children He gave us a purpose for each of our lives, and He knew that we would need help to get us there and as a good good Father He gifted us with two blessings, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus to give us strength and in exchange for His strength, we give Him the things that are no longing serving us - we lay it down at His feet and He redirects us to the Purpose God created us for, and the Holy Spirit to live within us and to hear the settle voice of God’s direction on where we need to go.
This is my prayer for all my brothers and sisters, that we may heal as a kingdom, a community, and live in our purpose God created us for. Let’s make this heaven on earth, and it starts with each one of us - Love Yourself enough to Let Go and Move Forward!
Go and Live a Purposeful Life and FLY.
